Vanar Sena in Ramayana was in fact an army of Neanderthal Men:

By Nilakhi Banerjee

Vanaras are surely one of the important characters in Ramayana, as per described in ramayanavanaras are special species of humans that looked like monkeys. Ramayana never mentioned vanaras as monkeys. These species were dominant in southern part of India and ruled south India, including Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.

What does vanaras’s mean? Vanara is a Sanskrit word, Having two parts van means forest and nara means human. So the literal meaning humans who lived in forest, vanaras were definitely not monkeys. Since Monkey is called vankapi, kapi or mercataSanskrit.

Why finding evidences of Neanderthal  men is difficult in India ?

Archaeological and scientific evolutionary studies, says Neanderthal, was a species that inhabited Europe, Africa and Western Asia, starting some two lakh’s thirty thousand years ago. Neanderthal man had a some bones same like homo sapiens, which enabled them to speak and look like humans very closely, though some evidence is of Neanderthal man was found in Indus Valley civilizations as Indians follow a very long cultural tradition of burning bodies after death.

Discovering any solid evidences of ancient times is not so easy. Besides, bones in Indian peninsular decay in field thousands of years. This makes it even more difficult to find traces of Neanderthals men in India. Explanations mentioned in Ramayana matches with the anthropological, modern day descriptions of Neanderthals except the features of tail. Both vanara and Neanderthal had sloping forehands, hairy bodies, protruding jawbones, etc.

The reason why modern day anthropologists didn’t find the tail ?

This is due to the tail of vanaras was boneless and hence decomposed within few years. If you come across the description of vanara kingdom, kishkindha then you will find that it clearly resembles a network of connected underground mountain caves. This is what the modern day anthropologists say about Neanderthals men who lived in caves. Obviously, vanara’s were physically different than manavas, that are humans, but definitely they were not monkeys.

Actually, the problem with most anthropologists and historians is that, since Vanaras’s don’t exist today, scientists are trying to imagine vanara’s in terms of something or somebody they know or have seen and hence compare them with homo erectus and the Neanderthal men. Maybe there were a different species altogether.

Evidences from Ramayana

The vanaras’s were Neanderthals men.    According to Ramayana, vanara’s existed all around in the world. But were dominant in the Kishkindha kingdom near Hampi in Karnataka. The head of vanara, king sugriva was summon vanaras’s from all over the world to join the Lord Rama army in South India. When Rama decided to attack Lunka, vanaras came from regions like himalayas, vindhyas, madhyapradesh, etc. Valmiki also explicitly stated that vanaras also came from far off places where the sun is always shines or is always set, that is polar regions.

Valmiki:

Since no evidence of vanaras’s are found anywhere in the world, Valmiki clearly stated that vanaras had traits of monkeys. He referred to members of vanara army as kapiconjura, which in Sanskrit means elephant sized monkeys. He also said that vanaras were not like normal small monkeys, but a different species of monkey. Possessing a strong physique and traits of monkeys like Neanderthal man.

He also used terms like “nityamasthirachita” that means one whose mind changes frequently and “kapitamanavastitam” Which means one who cannot stay in one place for a moment. Both these qualities, shows traits of a monkey.

Jambuvant:

Ramayana also says about bear like man. In Ramayana there is a mention of a bear like man name Jamvant one which is similar to yetis in other parts of the world. Yetis are also known as snowmen said to be found in icy regions of world. There are many stories based on such characters but no fossils have been found to prove their presence.

In Sanskrit bear is called as bhaluka and hence jamvant was definitely not bear, but resemble very closely to bears just like vanaras resemble monkeys.

Mahabharata:

In Mahabharata also, when Lord Krishna net Jamvant who is from Ramayana period, lord Krishna says that, It is one of the last surviving creatures of its kind. Lord Krishna also mentions that since his species have vanished, he is not welcomed in society anymore. Jamvanta was blessed with long life by lord rama.

Lord Hanuman was also blessed with immortality by lord rama. Thus, he was also the last among the vanaras.

Mahabharata history of third millennium, three thousand seventy six B.C. speaks the fact that vanaras and yetis like species have become extinct. Also, it confirms the existence of lord rama and all species mentioned in Ramayana. If Sage Vassa intended to write a fictional story of war between cauravas and pandava’s, why would he mention about Jamvant ? This shows that Ramayana is a very ancient history of India, which made it waves to other civilisation in America, Asia and Europe, etc.

Ramayana and Mahabharata are Indian history not mythology

Ramayana and Mahabharata is refer to as india’s history in ancient historical records, not stories even 18 purans, which means story of ancient times confirms the details mentioned in Mahabharata and Ramayana.Valmiki or Sage Vyas are never said they were writing stories. There is no need to detail our geographical locations, astronomical data and chronological orders, etc.

Ancient Ages:

Primal Indians never had the tradition of writing stories, since they were never short of real life heroes. There is no contradiction in Ramayana and Mahabharata. Some of the Western authors declared Ramayana as having contradiction just because Valmiki in one place referred vanaras as monkeys and other place as human like monkeys. It doesn’t contradict anything.

Mercury is also an element as well as planet. It has two folded meaning and hence its symbolism depends upon the situation.

Why Doesn’t Modern Science Doesn’t Believe in Ramayana and Mahabharata ?

Science cannot approve the historicity of Ramayana, since it says about talking conscious vulture’s monkeys, etc. all of which shows a reverse evolution that is ancient humans were more advanced and conscious than present humans.

Also, Indian scriptures state the degrading level of yugas and hence humans in Kaluga (present age) are spiritually and consciously less advanced. This is the stuff scientists are finding hard to digest as they believe they are superior and more advanced than all preceding humans. Problem with most scientists is that they tried to fit everything into the current set of theories. And if they find anything which doesn’t fit in current scenario, they are discarded.

In first century A.D. Earth was regarded as the centre of the static universe. But today, universe, having no centre, is said to be over expanding.

People usually say, We follow our blind faith or religion, but there are many scientific theories that are totally unusual and we’re believed as true few centuries ago. Believe in science, but the fact is that everything written in scientific books are not proven.

Vedic culture existed everywhere in the world. Evidence is already culture are found in places as far as Russia, Europe and America. Recently, fifteen hundred year old Lord Vishnu Idol was excavated in Russia. Historian wrongly claims that Vedic culture existed only in India.

Geography in Vedic texts:

Geography according to Vedic texts covered entire earth and not just India. In a way, the text Arctic region is called as elawratavarsha. However, today, nobody knows Arctic region by that name.

All the European languages have linguistic roots in Sanskrit. Other Western authors tried their best to show misrepresenting facts and false theories like audin invasion theory. But ultimately, the truth came out.  Vedic civilisation has been proved native to India. No other texts except Indian ancient texts talks about history beyond 10000 B.C.

It means Indian History is oldest in the whole world, which proves many things. So stay  connected with us. We will be back with such interesting stuff shortly.
